Explore the restoration of the Hager House, championed by WCHS President Mary Vernon Mish during the 1950s! Kay Osmer, Recreation Assistant for the City of Hagerstown, will explore this topic during Maryland Archaeology Month. Mary Vernon Mish served as the first female president of the WCHS from 1942 to 1949.
See historic before and after photos of the house's restoration and explore the house's architecture. Learn about the historic archaeological dig conducted during the 1950s.
Doors open at 5:30 PM. Refreshments and one complimentary drink ticket are included with each ticket.
This month's cocktail is the Mary Mish, a spin on the Mary Pickford cocktail from the 1920s that combines rum, pineapple, and a touch of maraschino.
