Darwin Seiler, Monterey Pass Battlefield, Inc. to present a story about the harrowing Union cavalry pursuit of Confederate regiments and their wagon train through the dangerous Monterey Pass after the Battle of Gettysburg. Includes local stories by the Smithsburg Historical Society and other area non profits about how civilians in Washington County were impacted by the multiple skirmishes and unexpected hardships in 1863.
