Learn about the fascinating history of the Biggs Ford site, a large, well preserved multi-component Native American village located on the banks of the Monocacy river in Frederick County, Maryland. This possibly palisaded settlement was occupied by peoples of the Monocacy Complex (1000-1450 AD) and the Luray Complex (1300-1500 AD).
Our guest lecturer will be Dr. Lauren Lippiello, Frederick Community College, Program Manager Anthropology and Geology. Question and Answer period to follow lecture.
Fee includes lecture and admission to 3 indoor museums and historic rural Maryland village.
