Occurring every year since the dedication of Antietam National Cemetery on September 17, 1867, the Sharpsburg Memorial Day Parade is considered the longest continuously held Memorial Day parade in the United States. Join the Town of Sharpsburg as we honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, as well as pay tribute to the service of our Vietnam War Veterans. There will be a morning wreath laying ceremony beginning at 11:00 a.m., followed by the parade at 2:00 p.m.
