Try your hand at pottery or work on existing skills - tricks of the trade, high-level critiques, and demonstrations by Hunt Prothro.
Clean Drinking Pottery is hosting a wheel-thrown pottery workshop and hands-on tutorial with a newly introduced Yin Yoga class taught by Director and Yoga Instructor at Movement Climbing Gym, Rockville, MD, Jezelle Abboud.
Much has been said about the meditative qualities of both wheel-thrown pottery and Yoga. Once upon a time, I told students, “it’s not stop talking and get to work. It’s the other way around.” Pottery and Yoga, perhaps strangely, share this quality of an embodied active centeredness.
