We welcome thousands of volunteers each year to support our local watershed area. This year we will be collecting trash in the Weverton area of the park. Join the C & O Canal Trust and the Alice Ferguson Foundation to preserve and protect our park. Community groups and canal enthusiasts may want to join the cause and spend the rest of the day cycling or hiking or eating/drinking in one of our lovely Washington County Canal towns (Hancock, Sharpsburg or Williamsport) before or after the event.
