Santa Claus arrives in Shafer Park on a firetruck at 6:30PM as the small Holiday parade travels down Reeder’s Alley, crosses Potomac Street (near the Potomac Street Creamery) and travels down Park Lane towards the Town Christmas tree in Shafer Park.
Mayor Long and Santa will light the tree and the Park will be decorated with an array of lights and luminaries. Children can pick up treats and apples and talk to Santa.
